Won't Take for Granted
JoAnna is at the CRCC Women's Retreat and I am with Ella Tays this weekend. We are having a blast! We have watched movies, gone to the mall to play in the playground and eat in the food court, and cleaned the house for mom.
As I was enjoying my time with my daughter, I received a call from my mom that my best friend's baby was still born. My heart went from joy to sorrow immediately, as I pondered what Tom and Mary Johns might be feeling right now. Please pray for Tom and Mary Johns Pittman as they grieve the loss of their baby boy.
I just can't seem to bounce back today from this news.

So, so, sorry Rich.
I don't know the words to pray ... only Lord, have mercy.
Amen.

As a minister of the word, it is the hardest to minister to those who are the closest to us. I will pray for you, Rich, as you search for the words to share with Tom and Mary Johns during Thanksgiving. We all have prayed for many months for the healing of this baby's heart and NOW we are all so touched by the death of this little boy. It is all in God's Perfect Plan; it is just hard for us to understand it.
Love you,
MOM

Rich, I want to thank you for calling me and grieving with me through this dark time. I also want to thank everyone that has and will pray for my family through all of this. The power of prayer is great. I still fight the question "why", but trust that God has done what is best. I will bury my baby boy tommorrow, and this will be hard, but will also be a huge step towards healing. I do know this much that I am being tested by God, and I will have faith and pass this test. Your prayers, friendship, and faith have strengthened us Rich. Keep up all that you are doing. It is well with my soul.

I will pray for Tom and Mary!
Somethings are very difficult to understand.
There are abortions occuring everyday without a thought. And Tom and Mary are in this very difficult situation. May God Bless them and give them Peace!
