Informed Intercession!
Leading up to the 40 Days for Life campaign that we will be engaging in, it might help inform our intercession to take a look at the history of abortion, statistics on abortion in America and some helpful articles.
I am not normally bent toward activism, but this cause has stirred me to the core. I pray that it does for you as well!

40 Days To End Abortion
This fall, from September 24 - November 2 of 2008, our community will be uniting with dozens of other cities across America - and around the world - for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history - the 40 Days of Life campaign. People of faith are praying that this effort will mark the beginning of the end to abortion.
This site will offer a daily devotional, prayer directive and prayer events to assist you as you fast and pray during the 40 Day campaign. You will also find helpful resources on fasting and prayer on the sidebar.

Join us next Saturday August 9 at the DowBrands Amphitheatre from 9 am-6 pm to pray for our city.
If you can't join us for the whole day, please consider joining us in prayer during your Mountain (the specific times are located below). The day will be filled with various worship leaders and mountain leaders from around the city of Greenville.

God Send Revival!
Begin praying now that God would consecrate this amphitheatre for this historic day.
DowBrands and the Peace Center sit on the former site of three dilapidated factories - one building wagons for the Confederate Army, a textile plant built in the 1880s, and a building serving as the home for Duke Mayonnaise.
This very site will host the HINGE, to see a city turn towards the heart of God.
